This small concert hall integrates Yunnan’s ethnic musical heritage with the spatial needs of a primary school. Drawing from the forms and materials of traditional instruments and the musical legacy of Nie Er, the design introduces layered wooden surfaces, modular seating, and a chromatic stair structure that translates musical rhythm into architectural elements. Playful colors and gentle textures create an approachable environment for children, while the overall composition retains a clear cultural narrative. The space functions as both a performance venue and an educational landscape, where tradition is reinterpreted through contemporary, child-friendly design strategies.
